Perfect Shape of the Cosmic Fulfilment of Desires |

After a long time, which appeared to Mani like a short moment, the celestial roads had cleared; the stars were all gone as if their glow had poured into this stream of beings and things. When even the last one had received its milk, and all the fulfilled desires swayed in the dance of bliss together, the man looked from his golden rock towards the dancing, shining variety; immediately all the millions and millions of beings and things danced in a splendour, that ever playfully renewed itself, towards the mighty, and myriads over myriads of mouths reached towards him like shining eyes. And
once again he served all these shining mouths from the milk in the golden
beaker, and as they drank once more from it, this time together, they
flowed together even closer merging into one single magnificent man
of immense, golden shining radiance who stood there, clad into a garment
of the stars of heaven. The clearing lay before her as in the beginning, and on the golden rock the radiant wise man sat again, and next to him stood his white cow looking at the gracious man full of loving devotion, as if it was talking to him about the great secrets of the world. And around the wise man and the golden rock his herd was grazing and fed on the fresh, green grass that gleamed like emerald; and between the grass the flowers of precious stones glowed forth in the radiant shine of the sun. Mani
saw the whole eternity of life caught in the quiet of this very mildly
moved scene; and full of profound happiness she could not take her eyes
of this clearing. As they went again through the sun-forest, Mani was still sunk in the remembrance of what she had just experienced. “This exercise reminds me of some event in Midgard,” Sol said to her, ”maybe you want to hear about it?” Mani returned to the reality of her splendid walk through the sun-forest, and she nodded her head with joy. And as they went on cheerfully Sol began to narrate: |
