Now, down from the stars of the sky, three radiant roads had formed on which the enlivened and the unenlivened nature of all the worlds seemed to stream near as if this calm clearing was their great place of assembly.

As soon as the first of the light-permeated, gleaming beings and things had reached the meadow of the forest they rushed in mighty strides towards the young man with his cow and held their mouths open as if begging for food from him.

Next to the elephant holding up its trunk there stood a knight which had dismounted his horse, and who now held his mouth open like the horse that pushed between him and the elephant; and between the mighty legs of the elephant a deer came pushing through and opened its mouth; and under the deer a cock with four hens came forward and they too opened their beaks; and between their legs again a snake family of five crawled forward and they all opened their mouths so that their gleaming tongues reached towards him.

In infinite peace the man sat there on the golden rock and collected the four streams of milk in the golden vessel.
And infinitely many creatures and things came hurriedly from the sun, the moon, and the stars.
