Mani
looked at the eighth princess. Her head was as if surrounded by playful,
golden shimmering sparks. Innumerable little channels of blessing truth poured down from her singing happiness of life into the calmer valleys of her mind and filled her with flows of love. As Mani approached the great golden streams with all her attention, her own glistening cognitive joy came jubilantly floating towards her. From two sides her sun and her moon looked at this magic world. Mani discovered a magic world of unbounded happiness of life. And suddenly
she understood a meaning of this happiness, that is underlying all that
is created; she even felt herself to be the creator of all things. At times she even did not know whether she was actually looking within
herself, or outside into her surroundings. Endless waves of perfect truth surged against her faculties like against
bright rocks of diamonds, and these billowing waves stimulated within
her all the life of the world. Dancing within and without, these sparks of pure creative power brought
Mani's entire world of experience in a state of suspension. Soon she saw her faculties dancing around in her forces of conscience like in a glittering splendour of stars. Like wheels of rays her feeling and understanding went around in her mind, striking sparks and milling her happiness. With her feeling Mani lifted the golden sphere of bliss of her sun-nature onto its radiant orbit, and with her understanding she guided the course of the silvery crescent of her consciousness to the full moon. A glistening shower of happiness of pure life poured from this mill
of the sun and moon into all her organs of cognition and awakened in
her the supernormal powers. Finally the whole world of her inner, human forces expanded incessantly
into infinity, like a huge brilliant cave of precious stones. When Mani woke up from this blissful experience and saw the mermaids
and the richly laid table, she did not know whether it was herself who
had brought it all about, or if it all had come about by itself. |
