The Princess of the Waters | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Mani looked at the next water-fairy and directed her view into the second dome of light. “Who
are you?” she heard her own voice ask again. “I am the daughter
of the waters,” answered the mermaid. In the quiet that had filled her as she was looking into the first
dome, Mani felt a very subtle enlivening; a subtle flow fanned a mysterious
freshness to her. In the cool bright world of her awareness Mani noticed a miraculous world of delicate dishes; the culinary arts of all times seemed to assemble in her mind. And when Mani turned her view from this treat back to the water-fairy, she was convinced she just had tasted the whole world. |
