Mani looked at the next beautiful fairy. Like mother of pearl her cheeks were shimmering, and pearls covered her hair, dark-blue as the night.
“Who are you?” she asked, and again she raised her eyes to the brilliant dome above the fairyis head.
“I am the daughter of the spaces,” she heard the lovely voice of the girl.

Through these words Mani heard a mysterious whisper. As she listened into the subtle surf of this whisper, she suddenly heard a manifold world of sound as if the creator was making music at the depth of her hearing.

While she travelled with this music through the sounding realm of her abilities, she heard the whole world resound - as if it was a musical instrument.

When, after an endless time, Mani turned her ear from the sounding stars back to the girls at the table, the assembly seemed to her like a condensed continuation of the cosmic musical art which still rang clearly in her ears.
Forever she would have liked to stay in that marvellous realm of the singing creation.
