One day Mani wanted to visit her brother at the other side of the world ocean. In his early childhood already he had been sent
to the home of their father for education, while Mani grew up in the family of her mother.

The children, however, had promised to visit each other from time to time, lest their mutual love might fade.
Now Mani wanted to keep her promise, and so she prepared a magnificent ship which came from the treasury of her mother.

This was no ordinary ship because she could not only travel over water but over land as well. Even through the air she could fly.
Hence she was respectfully called the ”miraculous ship” by everyone.

No one in the family knew anymore where the miraculous ship originally had come from; the traces of her history disappeared in the oldest past.
It was only known that she had been in the possession of the mother's family since long ago, and that even the eldest known ancestor of the mother's line was said to have owned her.

To the present day this ancestor was known in her mother's family as the ”King of Truth,” and full of pride everyone honoured him.
It was said that the miraculous ship had once been presented to this ”King of Truth” by a ship builder of genius.

When Mani reached her adolescence she had been given this ship by her mother.
And her mother instructed her in the art of navigation, as she in turn had been taught by her mother, Mani's grandmother.

The girl invited her best friends to join her. They lighted the anchor, and together they set out with their miraculous ship on their journey over the endless sea.

During the day they travelled with the sun-wind which blew his light-rays into the finely fanned fire-sails of their ship.
Her hull gleamed golden as the sun, and one was led to believe that the sun had flown down from the skies in the shape of a ship and was now bathing in the sea.
