The soothing warmth and the glowing all-creative cognizing, which spread within your feeling when beholding the summer-mountain so lovingly decorated by the fairies, is the dominion of the sun-alfs.
From here the summer mountain, and with it the sun as its eternal companion, is being ruled.

The three giantesses appear to those who try to stand against the inevitable fate of natural cosmic development and thus make the forces of dissent flare up within them.
These forces of narrow-minded resistance of natural law billow high, and they block the channels of cosmic life-breath in the senses of perception and in the tools of cognition; in that way hearing, touching, seeing, tasting, smelling, feeling and understanding are put out of function in part or totally, and end their service.

“This gives rise to incomplete images of the outer events, and inner fear of life dominates the natural cosmic cognitive process.
The result is that one experiences all events through the glasses of oneis own rejection and perceives life as disagreeable.

“The world, however, looks different to the open observer, who first of all accepts everything as it comes to him, as fate has arranged it for him according to the laws of cause and effect.
From this basis he directs his thinking to higher insights.
