Again Mani hesitated; she was not sure: if she sank down - then the dark lightning expected her again urging her to go on; and if she went on - then at once she was aware again of the infinitely blessing deep silence, permeated with glorious brightness, which was embracing her all the time, and so she did not want to go on anymore: she only wanted to sink into the floods of bliss. So Mani stood there completely at a loss; she could not and would not move any further. And again her brother took her by the hand and began to sing pleasantly; the obstacles disappeared in Mani, and full of brilliant enterprising spirit she walked again at the side of her brother through the snow-white, infinite fields of the light. Soon they went trough the great gate, inside silvery and outside golden, onto the arching bridge of light that scintillated in a splendour of colours. From the door again a trident shone towards them, and the one outer prong seemed to hint at the forces which had drawn her so irresistibly to the eternal rest; the other outer prong reminded Mani of the forces which had scared her out of her blissful rest so powerfully; and the prong in the centre apparently was meant to hint at the centre forces which dominated the opposed ones and which had enabled all the other young people to go through the tower without the slightest personal difficulty. “In this fifth tower those almighty powers dominate which rule the cosmic consciousness,” explained Sol to his sister. “The gleaming, glistening and twinkling brightness stems from the experience of transcendental consciousness - which was being ruled in the fourth tower. “But from this pure consciousness, soft as a breeze and shining like snow in the sun, from time to time the waking state of consciousness or the dreaming state of consciousness comes forth. And to the observer who continuously remains in the snow-white transcendental consciousness, bright as day-light - like in unbounded bliss - his dawning thoughts appear like dark limited shadow-images which then overshadow or darken part of the snow-white glistening, resplendent cosmic lunar brightness of pure consciousness. |
